Are we ready to move in yet?

So there was this big hole in my house with no preplacement in site.

After a big mess was made, a trip to the store brought home this baby:
With helpers:

Jesse contemplates what to do because the doorway frame is not straight and the same size all the way around. The bottom part is just a tad too small...otherwise everything else fits...

Eventually after cutting that part down, the door was put in. YAY I can now safely lock my house at night.

Only one problem, the door locks from the inside and it is our primary door. Eventually we figure it out and order the door lock from Home Depot because they order it from the door manufacturer. At this time we are currently going out the front door, walking all the way around the Townhouses to our car which is in the back yard. Did I mention we are in the very middle of the townhouse row? Yea...walk around every day in the morning and at night. I'm concerned with the Coyotes that come up from the canyon. That lock better come in fast!

More Painting and a very clever person helped us paint the very tall hallway:

But how will you 'cut' around the ceiling and edges? This lil bit of rigging worked out perfectly!!

 My bathroom was finally finished!

Its a similar pink as the Raspberry room, only lighter. I LOVE IT!

A few hardware changes and what a difference it makes!

 After:
And as we had cleaned up a bit and it was finally starting to feel as if it was coming together, this lady got a hold of the sander....a woman with powertools and she took off!
So much so that she layered EVERYTHING that was in sight with a huge layer of dust...so much for my clean kitchen:

The air was so thick and yes that is her black hair turning white!
The following picture demonstrates the layer that was left behind:

A busy hardworking mexican womans footprint.

Pretty colors :) Stairwells are the hardest! Good solution, I'm glad you got it all done.
